Brynn is my sweet and Star Wars obsessed daughter. We wanted to do something special for her 5 year portraits for her birthday this year- and how sad is it that this was the first time I’d ever done birthday portraits for her? Sometimes with all the client work I forget to take the time to document the own special times in my family’s lives. This year one of my goals is to take more time to do that 🙂  We shot this session at The Studio Room in downtown SLC. Brynn is my little Sith Lord- she is obsessed with Star Wars, especially Darth Vader. She watches one of the Star Wars movies pretty much every single day (her favorite is Revenge of the Sith, which we all know Return of the Jedi is the best one, but I digress) and loves to dress up in her storm trooper and Darth Vader costumes. I really wanted to incorporate her favorite thing and really capture her essence- I know I did my job because I cried THE ENTIRE TIME I edited these photos and I still tear up when I look at them. They grow up so fast! She is the craziest, smartest, compassionate, and beautiful girl I know.
